Devised Theatre Festival

Meet Four Eyes Collective!

Four Eyes Collective is a Toronto based company committed to creating spect-OCULAR experiences through the lens of raw, physical theatre. We offer new and changing perspectives by working together to devise cutting edge encounters for our audiences. Just wait til you see this!

Amber Dagenais

Amber is in her fourth year of the Performance Creation and Research program here at York University. She has thoroughly enjoyed her learning experience here at York and is excited to put all of her new knowledge and creative tools to use in this accumulative finale piece. Thanks to teachers, family and the good as nu girls.

Cathy Capizzano

Cathy is a Fourth Year Devised Theatre Student. She is a self proclaimed cat lady and pun lover. You know, once she did a performance about puns, but it was really just a play on words. In her spare time, she watches Friends with her cat, Chandler. (They were totally on a break). She is so excited for you to see all of our hard work and she hopes you enjoy the show! Some recent includes Love or Law (LightVision Productions) and NIZE it! (Inferno Productions).

Noah Sisson

Noah is a fourth year devised theatre student. His recent work includes writing and directing an original show, Rose's Thoughts from the Raft, in York University's PlayGround Festival (2018). When he is not performing he enjoys indulging in an unhealthy amount of trashy reality tv, occasionally with a large glass of cheap wine (white). He is looking forward to performing alongside his company and hopes you enjoy the festival!

Lauren Westbury

Lauren is thrilled to be part of this years DT Festival alongside a fantastic, talented group of Devisers. This is her last year at York before Canada kicks her out, relentlessly shipping her back to the states. For the past 4 years, she has worked closely with Vanier College Productions, performing as Marmee in Little Women, Euryclea in The Penelopiad , and a part of the ensemble in Rent!. Other collaborations with VCP include Assistant Stage Managing their productions of 9 to 5! and The Girl in the Photograph. Over the summer, she was given the amazing opportunity to travel with York University to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to be an ASM for So, That Was Fun! Theatre’s Evren, a piece created in last year's festival. She hopes to spend her years after graduation travelling, performing, and meeting all the dogs. She would like to thank her family and friends for being incredibly supportive and sending her pictures and videos of cute animals to make her smile.
