MEET CATAPULSE COLLECTIVE!
Catapulse Collective is a devised theatre company dedicated to creating theatrical works through movement and physicality, drawing inspiration from eclectic, diverse, and unconventional sources. We strive to create genre-defying work where form and content develop organically and simultaneously through our devising process.

Tiana is a fourth year student pursuing a BFA in Performance Creation with a focus on devised theatre, as well as set and costume design. Some recent credits include costume designing Theatre @ York’s rochdale (2018), performing in Streetlight Collective’s You’ve Got to be Kidney Me at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2018), and set designing Palimpsest’s Metanoia in the Devised Theatre Festival (2018). Maranda is incredibly excited to be working with such an amazing group of artists for the 2019 Devised Theatre Festival. She is currently finishing her final year at York University with specializations in Devised Theatre and Playwriting, having completed the Playwriting and New Play Dramaturgy series of courses last year. Maranda is thrilled to have had the opportunity to learn and create theatre with this incredibly talented group of people throughout the last four years.
Brittany is a fourth year devised theatre student. She is a member of the company Catapulse Collective, which will be making their debut in the Devised Theatre Festival 2019. Brittany is very interested in all aspects of the arts; outside of theatre, she loves to play various instruments and sing. She also spends most of her time working on novels and taking pictures. She hopes to spend a lot more time travelling and using exciting new experiences to gain inspiration for writing, theatre, and music in the future
